LORDSTOWN — Lordstown Schools will have a school finance forum at 5 p.m. today in the Innovation Center at Lordstown High School, 1824 Salt Springs Road.

It will include an overview of Ohio school finance by Ashland University professor Joel Roscoe and Lordstown school officials discussing funding issues related to Lordstown.

Such issues will include the impact of closing GM Lordstown, the phase-out of tangible personal property taxes and the funding-formula cap that costs Lordstown Schools about half of its state funding.

The forum is free and open to the public.
