Chicago accountancy firm Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams (ORBA) has launched a new wealth advisory subsidiary, ORBA Wealth Advisors, an Independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).   

ORBA Wealth Advisors includes a team of tax and advisory professionals who are focussed on providing goals-based financial planning and investment management services to help entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and families implement smart, confident, future-focussed decisions regarding their financial goals.

The ORBA Wealth Advisors, LLC team comprises:
 
James Petitpren, II, Executive Private Wealth Advisor and Chief Investment Officer, leads the wealth advisory team in developing, coordinating and providing resources to clients to meet their financial planning goals. Petitpren coordinates the firm’s portfolio strategies, planning strategies and resources to ensure that clients are receiving custom solutions that enhance their goals-based planning needs.
 
Luke Schillo, Director of Planning and Portfolios, coordinates detailed portfolio level analysis, prepares asset allocations and assists in the preparation of financial plans for his clients.  He works with clients to provide solutions to meet their financial goals.
 
Alexandra Coquoz, Private Wealth Analyst, is responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with all of its clients, as well as implementing strategic initiatives to ensure steady, continuous process improvement.
 
Frank Washelesky, CPA, JD, CVA, PFS, the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, is a CPA with a Personal Financial Specialist designation and an attorney with more than 30 years of experience representing closely-held businesses, their owners and executives. Washelesky’s focus is to advise clients through the diverse stages of their careers. He works with individuals and entrepreneurs on personal financial planning, estate and retirement planning, including business exit planning strategies.
 
Steve Lewis has been an investment advisor representative since 1988. Lewis specialises in serving high income and high-net-worth individuals, including physicians, attorneys, professional athletes, consultants and other entrepreneurs. As an investment advisor representative, Lewis helps his clients find the answers they need to successfully reach their personal financial milestones, including proactive tax planning advice, creating financial plans that address client goals, and retirement planning strategies designed for easier living in the future.  His expertise as an investment advisor also allows him to be directly involved with investment and asset allocation planning.
 
James Pellino, CPA, brings more than ten years of financial expertise to ORBA Wealth Advisors. Pellino possesses a diverse skillset, including a deep knowledge of accounting, employee benefit plans, entity formation and structuring, and investment advisory.  His experience as both a certified public accountant and investment advisor allows him to be fully immersed in the financial well-being of his clients – from understanding and mitigating his clients’ tax liabilities, to educating them on investment practices and asset allocation planning.
